This Privacy Policy explains how YouAboutToLoseYourJob.com ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit youabouttoloseyourjob.com (the "Site"), including when you reach it through jobriskradar.com, which redirects to the Site. The Site is part of a project called Job Risk.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Summary

• The job-loss-risk assessment is free and does not ask for your name, email, or contact details.

• Your score is calculated in your browser.

• By default, when you finish the assessment, your anonymous answers and score are saved to help improve the assessment. You can opt out by unchecking the sharing box on the results screen.

• If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address (and, optionally, your name or nickname and a description of your work) so we can tell you when the full report launches.

• We do not sell personal information. We never share individual results with employers.

• The Site is hosted on Google Sites and uses Google Forms and Google Sheets, so Google processes some data under its own policies.

Information we collect

1. The assessment

The Site offers a free 10-question assessment of how exposed a job may be to AI automation and layoffs. The questions ask about your job role, tasks, industry, seniority, skills, and what is happening at your workplace. All questions are multiple choice.

Your score (0 to 100), exposure level (Lower, Moderate, High, or Very high exposure), contributing factors, and next steps are calculated in your browser.

Anonymous data sharing is on by default. When you complete the assessment and reach the results screen, the following is sent to a Google Form and stored in a Google Sheet that we own, unless you opt out:

• Your answers to the 10 questions

• Your score

• Your exposure level

• The version of the assessment you took

The assessment does not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, or other contact details, and it does not ask for the name of your employer.

How to opt out of assessment data sharing

On the results screen there is a checkbox labeled "Share my anonymous answers and score to help improve the quiz." It is checked by default. If you uncheck it, your answers and score are not sent to us.

Please uncheck the box as soon as your results appear. Your answers are sent about 20 seconds after the results screen is shown, or sooner if you leave or close the page, retake the assessment or click the waitlist button, if the box is still checked at that time. Once anonymous answers have been sent, we cannot identify or remove them, because they are not linked to you (see "Your rights and choices" below).

2. The waitlist

If you choose to join the waitlist for the full report, you fill out a separate Google Form that collects:

• Your email address (required)

• Your name or nickname (optional)

• What best describes your work (optional)

3. Information you send us directly

If you email or call us, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your email address, phone number, and the content of your message.

4. Information collected by Google

The Site is hosted on Google Sites, and the assessment and waitlist use Google Forms and Google Sheets. Google may collect information such as your IP address, browser and device information, and cookies or similar technologies when you visit the Site or submit a form. Google may also use cookies or analytics on its own as part of operating Google Sites. This is handled by Google under Google's own privacy policy and terms, not by us.

The Site itself does not set its own tracking cookies.

How we use information

We use anonymous assessment data to:

• Review and improve the assessment over time

• Learn about broad patterns in hiring, layoffs, and AI adoption across roles and industries

• Publish aggregate insights, such as statistics or trends that combine many responses and do not describe any individual

We use waitlist information only to:

• Notify you when the full report launches

• Send related updates about the full report and the Site

We use information you send us directly to respond to your questions and requests.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information.

We never share individual assessment results with employers or anyone else.

We may share information in these limited cases:

• Service providers: Google hosts the Site and stores form responses on our behalf as described above.

• Aggregate insights: we may publish or share aggregated, anonymous statistics that do not identify any individual.

• Legal reasons: we may disclose information if required by law, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Data retention

• Anonymous assessment data: kept indefinitely, and used in aggregate.

• Waitlist data: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

• Messages you send us: kept as long as needed to respond and keep reasonable records.

Security

We store form responses in Google Forms and Google Sheets, which are protected by Google's security measures, and we limit access to our own accounts. No method of transmitting or storing data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and choices

Assessment data. You can choose not to share your assessment answers by unchecking the sharing box on the results screen. Because shared assessment data does not include your name or contact details, we cannot link it to you. That means we cannot find, provide a copy of, correct, or delete an individual's assessment responses after they have been sent.

Waitlist data. You can ask us for a copy of the waitlist information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing Contact@loseyojob.com. You can also unsubscribe from waitlist emails at any time by emailing Contact@loseyojob.com. We will honor deletion requests.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under local law. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information through the waitlist, please contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party services and links

The Site relies on Google services, including Google Sites, Google Forms, and Google Sheets. Google's handling of your information is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

The Site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we may also provide a more prominent notice on the Site.
