0–29 Lower exposure: Your role has relatively low exposure. Staying adaptable will help keep it that way.
30–54 Moderate exposure: Some exposure, balanced by factors that protect your role. Targeted skill-building keeps you ahead.
55–74 High exposure: Meaningful exposure. Parts of your work are likely to change, and planning ahead puts you in a stronger position.
75–100 Very high exposure: Several strong exposure factors. Worth taking active steps now to strengthen your position and widen your options.

Each of the 10 questions covers a factor linked to automation and layoff risk, such as how routine your tasks are, how much of your work is digital, and how much depends on judgment, relationships, or physical presence. Each answer earns points, and the most important factors are weighted more heavily. The total is converted to a score from 0 to 100. Your results show which answers raised your score and which lowered it. Full weights and sources are on the Assessment Tool page.

Start with the next steps shown in your results. A high score means parts of your role are likely to change. It does not mean you will lose your job. Building new skills, taking on work that needs human judgment, and keeping your network active all improve your position.

Only anonymously, and you can opt out. Your score is calculated in your browser. By default, your anonymous answers and score are saved about 20 seconds after your results appear (or when you leave the page). We use them to help improve the quiz and to publish aggregate insights on layoff and AI trends by role and industry. The assessment never asks for your name, email, or contact details. This site sets no tracking cookies of its own, though Google, which hosts it, may use cookies. To opt out, uncheck the sharing box as soon as your results appear. See our Privacy Policy.
It's an educational estimate, not a prediction. The score is a simple weighted total of your 10 answers, and it has not been tested against real layoff outcomes. It cannot account for your employer's specific plans, your performance, or your personal circumstances. Use it as a starting point for thinking about your career, not as career or financial advice.
No. We never share individual results with employers. Shared answers include no name, email, or contact details, so they aren't linked to your identity. We only publish combined totals across many responses.
